This is a unique Vancouver 27 in absolutely superb condition. She was built by Pheon Yachts Ltd in 1985 and has been based in Newhaven since being built. She has never been stressed or sailed long distance being only gently cruised. She is currently owned by the original builder and was restored and upgraded in 2006 by The Pheon Yacht Company. She has been constantly maintained by the builder with many additions and modernisations.

If you are looking for a Vancouver 27 you will not find better than this one. Many have been sailed long distance through tough conditions and are now looking tired and worn out having been constantly stressed. Not this one. She is as dry as a bone inside with fastidious attention to fittings and deck seals.

SPECIFICATION

Construction:
This Vancouver 27 was designed by Robert Harris and built in 1985 by Pheon Yachts Ltd, both hull and decks of GRP with a long encapsulated keel. The interior is fitted out in teak veneer and solid teak. Full restoration and upgrade works were carried out by The Pheon Yacht Company Ltd in 2006. She has a current survey (2011).

Mechanical:
Powered by a 20hp Bukh DV20 ME driving through a shaft to a fixed 3 bladed propeller.

Manually pumped cold fresh water system.

Accommodation:
The Vancouver 27 sleeps three with two singles with lee cloths in the saloon and a quarter berth on the starboard side with an inbuilt fridge/freezer. A separate toilet compartment with wash hand basin is located forward of the main saloon.  Across from the wash hand basin is a generous hanging wardrobe.

Galley:
The galley is located on the port side with a Plastimo Atlantic two burner, grill and oven. A stainless steel sink and drainer has manual cold water supply, with a foot operated pump and a foot pump operated salt water supply.
