Painter of fine english landscapes and seascapes
Archive Page - Seascapes
The Seascapes Archive
.
The Artist has a long association with the sea
and ships. His father, who was also a fine seascape artist, was in the Royal Navy and his mother was a Wren during the Second World War. He learnt to sail at the age of ten and grew up with yachts and sailing.
.
With his father he ran a yacht building company
for a number of years gaining an international
reputation for excellence and quality. Sailing has
been a life long passion and he is never without
a dinghy or yacht to sail. From this comes his
love of
seascapes and marine paintings.
.
He has an intimate knowledge of the sea and boats of all types and all things marine.
In his watercolour seascape paintings he brings to life their grace and beauty. In
his seascape oil paintings he shows great respect for the power of the sea in all it's moods. Below are but a few examples of his
seascapes and marine paintings from Tall Ships to War Ships, Racing Yachts and Harbours.
Below are examples of previous seascapes and marine paintings.
